Tree Corps: Touro Park

  • Touro Park 5 Touro Park Street West Newport, Rhode Island, 02840 United States (map)

Join the Newport Tree Conservancy at Touro Park for a rewarding morning of tree care and community stewardship.

Volunteers will help weed, mulch, and lightly prune trees throughout the park, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant for years to come. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or trying something new, this hands-on volunteer opportunity is a great way to give back, enjoy the outdoors, and help keep Newport's urban forest thriving.

As a special thank you, volunteers can enjoy a free lunch provided by our sponsors at The Lobster Bar. Be sure to add the free "Lunch Ticket" add-on option when registering so we know to have a meal prepared for you.

Please wear closed toed shoes and bring your own water. Volunteers will be provided with volunteer t-shirts.
