Join us for a morning of cool ocean breezes and NTC Living Collections Manager Joe Verstandig’s engaging dialogue on the trees of Storer Park and the surrounding neighborhood. Joe will touch on some of the interesting species and cultivars growing in the area, including a massive sweetbay magnolia (Magnolia virginiana) and fruiting quince tree (Cydonia oblonga), and several others. Joe will also touch upon trees that perform well in the difficult bayside location of Storer Park. Water is encouraged; please dress for warm temperatures.

Our meeting spot will be at the Storer Park sign.

Parking along Washington Street/Goat Island Connector.
