Join NTC for a spring stroll through one of Newport’s beautiful neighborhoods!

As we reach the peak of spring, join the Newport Tree Conservancy for a neighborhood stroll, seeking beautiful trees standing out in the month of May. NTC Living Collections Manager Joe Verstandig will discuss trees and shrubs in bloom, touch on seasonal tasks in the garden, and remark on some noble tree specimens the group encounters. Joe will also touch on some of the planting work the Tree Conservancy has done in partnership with the city in recent seasons.

Our meeting spot will be at the intersection of Catherine St. and Prairie Ave.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. We will be walking 4-5 blocks.
